1. Power off the device manually or pull the battery.
2. Press and hold the R and Mkeys and the Power button until you see a screen with a yellow exclamation mark.

3. Hit the "end call" button" while still holding the "home" and "back" buttons.
4. Release the "home" and "back" button. you shold now be in Hboot
5. Hit the "menu button", the Hero will now boot with factory settings.
