What does Home sid Mean?
Home SID stands for HOME System Identification. What this number does is pretty much tells the phone what tower to get signal off of. Each market in the us is assigned a HOME SID. The home Sid must match with the PRL you use because if it does not match the phone will grab no service and go into roaming.
