General NAM Programming Instruction

Flashed phones should not be programmed by dialing *228 unless instructed to do so. Here's why, Sprint and Verizon also use *228 to OTAP (over the air programming). If you have a flashed phone, about 50% of the time it will try to grab and download Verizon or Sprint settings even thought the phone is Flashed to another carrier. What happens is that after you *228, a few of the Nv settings and phone settings will revert to Verizon or Sprint since it couldn't grab them in the first place, causing all Internet programming and MMS programming to be Lost on Lg, Samsung and Other handsets. Even in Blackberrys, the Web (service books) can be erased if *228 has been performed. We have seen it happen a lot of times. Its always recommended to Manually program Flashed phones on CricKet and use *228 only when instructed to do so.

If SPC is Not 000000 then We Must find the SPC to program the phone

ALL CDMA BLACKBERRY MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING


1.Dial ##000000 and hit Send (call button)
2.Program the MDN (Mobile Directory Number)
aka the Customers phone number.
3. Program the imsi_s: MIN (mobile Identification number)
4. program your Home SID: (provided by your carrier)
5. Hit the Blackberry Menu button (the logo Key)
6. Select Save. Phone will reset.

ALL CDMA HTC MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING


1. For Verizon models Dial ##778 Send, For Sprint Models Dial ##778# then go to step 2.
2. Select Edit
3. Enter 000000
4. Select and hold the MSID and Select Edit and Enter the MIN number
5. Select view info and Click on NAM
6. Edit the Mobile Directory number (MDN)
7. go to view info again and select Home SID
8. Edit the first profile and enter your HOME SID (provided by your carrier)
9. Hit the Small OK button on the Right Top corner, hit ok again and your done.

ALL CDMA LG MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING

For Lg Models, there are 2 types of methods to Manually program them

1st Method:
Usually found in Lg vx8300, Lg vx8500, Lg vx9800, Lg vx9900
1. Hit Menu and Press 0
2. Enter 000000
3. select service programming hit ok
4. enter MDN hit ok
5. Enter MIN and hit ok
6. Enter Home Sid and hit ok, ok, ok and done

2nd Method
usually found in ALL LG models
1. Dial ## 7764726 + Model number and Send
(##program + phone's model number+send)
2. Enter 000000
3. Select service programming and hit ok
4. Enter the MDN (customers number) hit ok
5. Enter The Min and hit ok
6. Enter the Home Sid (provided by your carrier)
7. hit ok ok ok. Done.

Palm Treo 650p, 700p, 700w, 700wx, 755p

1. for Verizon dial ##000000 send for Sprint Dial ##000000#
2. Edit the MDN, MIN and Home SID
3. hit save and your done
the radio will reset.


Palm Treo 800w, 850w and Palm Pre

1. ##000000# should get you into the Menu
2. then Just edit the MDN and MIN
3. hit ok and save. and your done.

ALL CDMA MOTOROLA MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING

All Motorola Q's (Q, Q9m, Q9c)

1. dial ##073887* Send
2. for the Q, hold Shift and Enter 000000 for all others just enter 000000 no need to hold shift.
3. Select user activation
4. select Nam 1
5. Enter the MIN
6 Enter the MDN (customers number)
7. Enter the CDMA sys Id (home Side) provided by carrier.
8. Hit ok if it does not restart hit end and take battery out
9. replace battery and make test call


Other Motorola Models:
1. Dial 74663 # clr, clr or 74663# back, back
2. Enter the Spc if asked.
3. Enter the MIN
4. Enter MDN
5. Enter Home sid (provided by carrier)
6. hit done, ok phone will freeze for a little bit.

Motorola Zn4 Krave - touch screen with see thru cover.

1. Dial ##program (##7764726 send)
2. enter 000000

  •   4 keys are used to program this phone. The volume key  allows you to scroll up and down. The speaker phone key will allows you to select and serves as the Enter key. The camera key is used to go back out to the previous screen.  The Home key allows you to enter data into a highlighted area.

  • Once your in the programming menu, press the speaker phone and select NAM . Hit the speaker phone key again to enter NAM1 programming.

  • Highlight MIN and Hit the home key and edit the parameters then hit done. Use the volume key to scroll down to the MDN,  hit the HOME key to enter the MDN and hit done when complete. Hit the speaker phone key then Hit the camera button to exit programming.



MOTOROLA DROID, DROID 2, DROID X
1. Dial ##7764726
2. Enter 000000
3. User Activation 
4. Enter MIN, MDN, and home SID
5. hit Done of back , phone will reset

ALL CDMA SAMSUNG MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING

There are 4 different ways to Manually Program Samsung phone. All phones are unique and different int heir own way.

Method 1. -Sprint Handsets only

1. ##spc# (if spc has been reset to zero's then you wold type
##000000#)
2. Select Edit
3. Enter the MDN (customer's phone number)
4. Enter the MSID (aka MIN)
5. Select done. - Make a test call

Method 2. found in Verizon handsets

1.On the handset, go to Menu, settings & tools and press #
2. enter the SPC which is 000000
3. Go into the Network settings Tab
4. Go into the Mobile directory number (MDN) and edit
5. press back and go to NMSID there you will input the MIN
but before putting MIN you have to Enter "00" followed by the MIN number.
6. go back and go into the Home Sid and edit that field.
7. press done and phone will reset.

Method 3. For PDA's

1. Dial **772
2. Enter 000000
3. hit Ok
4. Enter the MDN
6. Enter the MIN
7. Enter the Home SID
8. Hit ok
9. Exit. phone might not reboot so pull battery after wards.

Method 4 for Samsng u450 and Newer samsung models

1. go to Menu>settings>phone info
2. press *
3. Enter 000000
4. Network Settings
5. Enter the MDN
6. go back and choose NMSID and Enter 00 followed by MIN
7. go back and enter Home SID
8. Press Exit done.

Method 5 for samsung u960-rogue

1. Menu, go to Settings
2. Press "fn" button
3. press the *
4.Press "fn" button again
5. Press * again
6. enter 000000
7 Service programming8. select network settings
9.select phone number and enter MDN
10. select NMSID enter 00 then MIN
11. select home SID and edit
12.exit and done.


SAMSUNG FASCINATE GALAXY S (ANDROID)
 To bypass activation screen, press emergency call button, then at the dialer, press * # 8 3 7 8 6 6 3 3, press the Home key  
 
if its bypassed, to ENABLE HIDDEN MENU (program)                    
Step 1: From the home screen, tap phone icon, Dial
 * # 2 2 7 4 5 9 2 7           
             
Step 2: Enter SPC code: ______ displays tap in white box to show virtual keyboard, enter 6 digit code (default: 000000), tap OK     
                          
Step 3: Select “Hidden menu Enable”, tap OK
                            
Step 4: From the phone dialer screen, press * * 7 7 2                          
Step 5: Enter 000000 (spc code by default)
Step 6: Tap Down till you see SVC MODE NAM 1 CDMA 
Direcotry number, tap to enter MDN hit enter

Step 7: Enter MSIN (min number) hit enter

Step 8: Enter HOME SID (provided by carrier) hit Enter

Step 9. Enter Enter Enter and you are done. phone will reboot

SAMSUNG NEXUS S
Diag mode

Samsung Nexus s Diag mode is as follows

Dial *#*#8778#*#*

and switch USB to MODEM instead of PDA

ALL CDMA SANYO MODELS NAM PROGRAMMING

Usually Sanyo Models are easy to Manually program. If the phone is flashed only for Basic access (talk and texting only) then you can dial *228 in hopes it programs.

If *228 fails, simply Dial the following
1.##SPC# if the SPC is 000000 then it wil be ##000000#.
2. select Edit
3. Enter the MDN (phone number)
4. Enter MSID (MIN)
5. Hit done and Make a test call.

Usually Helio Phones are All Samsung or Pantech,
To Manually Program these phones do the following




1. Dial ##000000#
2. Select edit
3. Type in your MDN (phone number)
4. Type in your MIN (provided by CricKet)
5. Hit Done and your all set.
